Methylal
It is a colorless flammable liquid with a low boiling point. This material has low viscosity and excellent solubility. Methylal has an odor similar to chloroform. This material is in the group of dimethyl acetal formaldehyde.
Dimethoxymethane is completely miscible with most common organic solvents.
